Thursday Afternoon Open Sail - Rainbow Bay Marina - 4:30pm to dusk
Experienced sailors, novice sailors and non-sailors who want to try sailing are all welcome. Sail with others on Rhodes 19s, Lasers, 420s, or El Toros. Meet new people and get your experience here! Only $5 per boat. Bring your PHYC membership card and Rainbow Bay Marina qualification card or just show up between 4 and 4:30 pm and help crew one of our boats. Occurs every Thursday (weather permitting).
Directions to Rainbow Bay MarinaAt Rainbow Marina, small boat sailing is permitted in the general area from the dock to Pearl City Peninsula, mauka of Ford Island Bridge. Sailing Chart

Monthly Meeting - 1st Thursday of every month
On the first Thursday of every month, open sailing is followed by a social gathering and meeting starting at 6 pm, or soon after. We'll meet either in the classroom below Schooners Restaurant or in the large conference room (Ohana Hale) behind Ocean Concepts Scuba, just past Rainbow Bay Marina. Club will provide pupu's but feel free to bring bring food or beverages to share.

Other Regularly Scheduled Races
For members interested in racing large boats, there are several opportunities to crew.
- Makani Kai Yacht Club, in Kaneohe, sponsors races on Saturday afternoons. Races are scheduled bi-weekly.
- Hawaii Yacht Club, located in the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, sponsors races on Friday evenings.
