North Star Junior Sailing offers three distinct levels of training.

Beginners can have one day of fun on the water a week as they  "get their feet wet" while learning basic sailing skills.

Intermediate level offers a second day to hone sailing and basic racing skills.

Our Racing team will train and compete 4 days a week against other area clubs for awards while making lifelong friendships.

Adult Classes a great way to get started in the lifelong sport of sailing. Learn basic boating safety & confidence, sailing language and skills and test the waters of your sailing love.

Program hours are from 9:00am to 4:00 pm

There are seven weeks of instruction with a one week break during the week of the Bayview Port Huron to Mackinac regatta where no classes will be held.

The 2008 program will run from June 16th through August 10th. Family's are invited to a pot luck awards banquet to be held at North Star Sail Club on August 3rd at 6pm.  Following the awards banquet will be silent and live auctions and the Boat Town Parade of Lights.

And, there's no such thing as a "Rain Day."  We sail in the rain.  If conditions do not permit on the water training, we catch up on classroom instruction with land based activities.

Students are responsible for providing their own lunches, personal floatation devices (pfd), secure and  protective shoes, and appropriate clothing.  Please let us know if you  have any difficulties with these requirements - we'll do whatever we can to help!
