| MCYC is proud to
offer sail instruction for children ages 8 and older,
regardless of previous sailing experience. The programs
are designed to teach the skills needed to sail and
race. Classes are tailored to the age and abilities of
the participants. Younger sailors are encouraged to
become comfortable on the water and under sail.
Intermediate and advanced sailors learn the finer points
of boat handling and racing tactics. As a student
advances, their skills progress to the point that they
can participate as crew in our racing
program with the adults. |

SAIL CAMP
SCHEDULE
The season
typically has three sessions:

Mid
June for 2 1/2 weeks
-
Mid
July for 2 1/2 weeks
-
Late
July to Early August for 2 1/2 weeks
For
each session the student can sign up for a morning or
afternoon class.
Depe nding
on interest, Adult Classes are also available on
Tuesday and Thursday nights.
