As a part of Michigan City Yacht Club's invitational, The Dunes Cup had been contested between the Michigan City, New Buffalo, and St. Joseph River yacht clubs for a number of years.  In 2005, the race was aligned with the Hospice Regatta Alliance. It was a great success.

In 2008, the current cup holders, MCYC, will be defending at an event that promises a great time for sailors and spectators, while raising funds and awareness for the important work that hospice organizations do.  Come join a great time and worthy cause.
