AP	Postponement Start sequence will begin 1 minute after AP drop & one (1) horn blast
N	Abandonment All races abandoned until later in the day
AP A	Cancellation All races cancelled for the day Accompanied by three (3) horn blasts
X	Individual Recall Accompanied by one (1) horn blast. Committee boat will attempt to notify over early boats.
First Substitute	General Recall Accompanied by two (2) horn blasts Restart sequence will begin 1 minute after drop & one (1) horn blast
S	Shortened Course Finish between committee boat and starting pin on next beat
M	Mark Signal When displayed on a mark vessel or other object means round object displaying signal instead of mark it replaces
L	Come Within Hail Sail to within hailing distance of committee boat
Y	Life Jacket Required Personal life jacket must be worn by all crew while racing
AP White Blue Red	Start Sequence AP or First Substitute or Red Flag flown until 1 minute prior to Warning Signal. Drop accompanied by one (1) horn blast. Warning Flag (white) up, one (1) horn blast = 5min to start White flag down, one (1) horn blast, Blue flag up = 4min to start Blue flag down, one (1) long horn blast = 1 min to start Red flag up, one (1) horn blast = start (also becomes Warning Flag for next race)
