BYC Racing & Travel Team News: 
 

Avalon YC  hosted the First Thursday Mayra summer series.  85 boats participated including optis, 3 lasers and 420's.  BYC was represented by Connor Murray, Cole Murray, Patrick Murray, Margot Murray, Marissa Murray, Jacob Hoffman, Jack Corbett and Bethanny Nemsdale.   Two races were held in light and variable wind conditions. Of our 8 sailors, 5 were called to retrieve their awards afterward.  Placing in his first travel regatta was Patrick Murray taking 2nd in white fleet followed by Connor Murray 3rd and Jack Corbett in 4^th.  In the blue fleet Margot Murray placed 5th.   In lasers Marissa Murray placed 2^nd.  This Wednesday marks the first LBI Wednesday followed by another Mayra on Thursday.   Congrats to all our sailors    Coach Paul
