The BYC Juniors have been on the mini-golf circuit this year.  On July 24th, they took Atlantic City by storm - playing 18 holes on the boardwalk followed by ice cream.  Thanks to Ann Cwiklinski for organizing this enjoyable evening.  On a perfect summer's evening on August 7th, 26 juniors played 18 in Brigantine - with many holes in one scored on the water feature!  A stop at Aunt B's for ice cream completed the event.  Thanks you Liz Visone for putting it all together.  Mid-season awards were presented by our instructors, Kaelyn, Christina, Carolyn and AJ, and our RC John Gibbons on July 31st.  This was followed by a few rousing rounds of bingo and make-you-own sundaes organized by Marianne Ford.  Thank you to the parents who have organized (continued on page 4 .) (Juniors, continued from page 3.) the Friday lunches this  year.  Most recently we thank Kathy Terry and Claudette and Armand Savino.  The juniors have also been selling desserts at the Friday Night Grill as a fundraiser for our end-of-season t-shirts.  Thank you to all our patrons.  Now we're all eagerly awaiting our annual trip to the Wildwood Waterslides on Friday, August 15th.  We'll be meeting at the club at 9:00 sharp.  Please sign-up at the club.  See you at the slides!

The BYC Juniors began their summer of fun with a well-attended movie night hosted by Mariel Ford and Ann Marie Branco.   The following week the Juniors headed off-island to see the hilarious Kung Fu Panda.  Then they splashed their way through the Pine Barrens as 37 juniors and their families participated in the annual canoe tip - I mean trip!  Thank you to Alicia O'Connor for organizing the event.  The Friday lunches have been growing in size as our Junior program expands.  Thank you to the families who have hosted the lunches.   Thanks also to those who baked, worked or purchased at our bake/candy sales.  Please watch the Juniors Board at the club for details and notices of upcoming events...Thursday, July 31st will be half-year awards and game night at BYC, we've got mini-golf outings planned and a trip to the Wildwood water slides on Friday, August 15th.
