| The Charles F. Street Memorial Trophy was presented by the New England Yacht Racing Council in 1976 in memory of Mr. Street, former Secretary-Treasurer of this Council, past President of the Narragansett Bay Yacht Racing Association and noted Yacht designer. A strong competitor himself, Mr. Street was particularly interested in the encouragement of Junior competition. It is most appropriate that this trophy is emblematic of the Junior Doublehanded Championship in Area A. |
