MWR decided to evict PHYC as of 1 November from the space we have occupied for the past 39 years. We will be negotiating with MWR and Naval Station Pearl Harbor for new space. Our goal will be space in the marina area that has secure storage for the chandlery goods and other possessions, sufficient room for general meetings and for Pre / Post Race gatherings, and hopefully kitchen facilities so we can continue the tradition of dinner meetings. The new officers will keep the membership informed on the progress of negotiations.

Tonite (8 November) election of the 2002 officers and directors will take place. A partial slate has been prepared, nominations from the floor will also be welcomed.

Proposed Slate for 2002 Officers and Directors:

bulletVice Commodore: Greg Stephanoff
bulletRear Commodore for Sail: Richard Lewis
bulletRear Commodore for Power: Stan Radlo
bulletTreasurer: Rosann Lewis
bulletSecretary: Kim Sterling
