PEARL HARBOR YACHT CLUB |
|
Aloha Members and Guests,
Founded in 1924, Pearl Harbor Yacht Club has a history of providing recreational and competitive boating opportunities for Active Duty, Reserve, Retiree, DoD personnel and their families, as well as the community at large.
Please look around our site to learn something about our club, our programs, and our members. PHYC is a club with decades of history. Our members are happy to share their knowledge of sailing, racing, cruising, and general boating knowledge.
We have open sailing every Thursday afternoon (weather permitting) from 4:30 p.m. to dusk at Rainbow Bay Marina. Experienced sailors, novice sailors and non-sailors who want to try sailing are all welcome.
On the first Thursday of every month we follow our open sailing with a social gathering and meeting starting at 6 pm or soon thereafter. We'll meet either in the classroom below Schooners Restaurant or in the large conference room (Ohana Hale) behind Ocean Concepts Scuba, just past Rainbow Bay Marina. (See map)
** Please join us for our next meeting on Thursday, February 4th in the Sailing Classroom at Rainbow Bay Marina. See "Club Events" for more information. **
* Download our latest PHYC Flyer or our more concise PHYC Ad, put them up where folks can see and give a copy to a friend! *
** See Seamus Murphy's article on Youth Sailing with MWR from the Sep-Oct '09 issue of Liberty Call, which features the PHYC Sears Cup team. **
